It all began when our founder, Seda Canatan Yenihayat, ordered a designer bag from eBay that she couldn’t find in Turkey. It was 2012. Back then, buying second-hand luxury items was often met with a raised eyebrow. Seda Canatan Yenihayat, who had just graduated from architecture school, discovered the value of loving and reusing items and decided to turn her career in a completely new direction, founding Turkey’s first luxury second-hand brand, Authentic Seconds. Our store, located in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, today holds the title of Europe’s largest second-hand luxury store by display area. On our website, where we offer barely-used or never-used luxury brands, providing a safe online shopping experience is our top priority. For this reason, we became the first brand in Turkey to introduce double-stage AI expert technology. We take pride in elevating the reliability of the second-hand luxury fashion market by guaranteeing certified authentic products. Trends are temporary. Looking back, we’re proud to have eliminated prejudices, transformed the secret habit of reusing into the joyful act of loving to reuse, extended the lifespan of quality items, raised awareness about environmental preservation, and contributed to the circular economy through a story that spans over a decade.
